Do you mean that the ExpoKit app takes longer during startup, for instance on the splash screen?
Try and provide as much info as possible to get the right answers.
One possibility in speeding loading times is to disable OTA updates- https://docs.expo.io/versions/v32.0.0/guides/configuring-ota-updates/#automatic-updates
