Recently Push Notifications are missing the body in some cases

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 45 & 46
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): All
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

Recently the notifications are missing the body in some cases, @wodin could you please investigate this issue?

@nguyenth86 how recently have you noticed this happening?

I can’t think of any recent infrastructure changes that might be causing this, so I’m at a bit of a loss on how to debug.

Could you send me an email at chriswalter@expo.dev with more details about requests where you’ve seen this occur? Specifically what the payloads look like, and if you have specific Push Tokens for which this repros please include those as well.
