camera torch mode in barcode scanner

Team, We need torch mode in barcode scanning feature, We have evaluated feasibility of the barcode use case with expo-barcode-scanner and looks promising. do we loose any barcode scanning feature\capability when we switch to Camera component in order to use torch based on this post BarcodeScanner torch.
Please help.
Essentially, what is the difference?
we are looking for expo-barcode-scanner with torch mode
