How to run iphone version app on ipad emulator ?

I recently submitted an app that disables the tablet support to the App Store, but I still got rejected for some of the UI not working properly on the iPad.

Is there any way to run a iPhone version app (x2 size) on the iPad emulator? I tried directly debug the app on the ipad emulator, but it still is shown in the tablet version.
