How to compose SMS?

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version:47.0.13
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): all
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

Is there a way to open the SMS app programmatically?
I would like to have the same functionality that MailComposer has with the method composeAsync.
I know that I can build a form where a user can type the SMS message, but my requirement is to open the phone app and let the users do the rest.
