Hello,
I did upgrade to 49.0.0-beta.2 from 48.0.7 and now when trying to run with “expo start”, it wants me to use WSL. Why? What changed and why is it required now?
Some logs (Polish unfortunately):
Podsystem Windows dla systemu Linux nie ma zainstalowanych żadnych dystrybucji.
Użyj polecenia „wsl.exe --list --online”, aby wyświetlić listę dostępnych dystrybucji
i polecenie „wsl.exe --install ”, aby zainstalować.
Dystrybucje można również zainstalować, odwiedzając sklep Microsoft Store:
Error code: Bash/Service/CreateInstance/GetDefaultDistro/WSL_E_DEFAULT_DISTRO_NOT_FOUND
Let me know if it’s possible to run as previously, without using WSL. I have no idea why it’s needed now and found no information about it.
