Repeating the question, since there were no answer before…
I’m looking to build a standalone app and in step 1 it mentions that Windows users must have WSL enabled. I’m running Win 8.1 and this isn’t even an option for me. Do I absolutely need it or should I spin up a VM and do all my work there? (I’m hesitant because I had one reset once and I lost everything)
Can you give a link to where it states the use of WSL?
I get it, when executing “npm i -g expo-cli”. Full message:
“Does not seem like WSL enabled on this machine. Download a Linux distro from the Windows Store, run it at least onceand then make sure to run in an admin powershell:
Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux”
