Outlook app setup but get unavailable error still

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 40
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): iOS
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

On an iPhone, I use MailComposer.composeAsync but get this screenshoted error, I thought this only happens if mail app is not logged into, however I’m getting it even when the outlook app is installed and configured (not main phone app)

Hi @noitidart

Based on the error message and the documentation it looks like MailComposer only supports Apple’s “Mail” app. Not just any mail app.

There are other libraries that support more mail apps. e.g. this one looks promising:

If you don’t like that one, maybe have a look at one of these:
