iOS settings for custom dev client

  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): iOS
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

Hi there,

I have a custom expo-dev-client installed on my iOS device. I am trying to use location permissions.

The “settings” for my dev client in the iOS settings app is not there.
I am wondering if there’s any configuration I missed that would enable my dev client to show up in settings?

My problem is I can’t go into settings to disable/enable location permissions.

Ok, so I have sort of fixed it, I requested camera permission and now the dev-client app shows up in settings.

However,
The first thing I did was deny my app access to location. After I denied access, the dev-client app wasn’t inside of settings. At that point there was no way for me to go in and change my location settings. I was only able to once I had enabled camera permissions.
