How to fill screen height (including navigation bar)?

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 37
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): Android

So I wondering if is possible to fill all the height of screen without having to hide the navigation bar.

You can achieve this by using a SafeAreaView.

This package is recommended: GitHub - th3rdwave/react-native-safe-area-context: A flexible way to handle safe area insets in JS. Also works on Android and Web!

But how Exactly? The SafeAreaView dont only give you exactly the inverse, the area that is not status and navigator?

It should, you need to style the SafeAreaView itself, not the content inside of it. If that doesn’t work then the device doesn’t seem to support it properly yet. I had the same issue with some Android devices.
