getting the .apk without publishing

Hi, is there a way generate the standalone .apk? I tried doing it with Android studio but I got an error that the server isn’t running.

Is this with Expokit, or with a managed Expo project? We have documentation for both, you can read about Expokit here and regular Expo projects here
