Difference in appearance between expo build:ios and testflight app behaviour

We use the expo managed workflow
eas-cli version = eas-cli/0.44.1 darwin-x64 node-v16.13.2

What we have tried so far

• The expo build:ios command gives the image background but on testflight the app doesn’t show the image.

are you using expo build or eas build? if you are using expo build then the eas-cli version doesn’t matter

We’re using eas build -p ios and eas submit -p ios. The cli version doesn’t matter then…

do you see a warning when you run eas build -p ios about your metro config being incorrect? my guess is that you should be seeing that

Yes, we are seeing this! Thanks for the insight, we’ll fix this and hopefully should be good then
