Authenticate to Firebase with Google OAuth in an Expo Go compatible app

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 48
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): all
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

This is not a question, rather a guide we’ve created on how to authenticate to Firebase using Google OAuth that works in Expo’s managed workflow with Expo Go. We found the documentation of Expo’s and Firebase’s documentation lacking.
