I followed the getting started guide here to the letter: Getting started - Expo Documentation

And it just works! Amazing :slight_smile:

When going here: Updates - Expo Documentation there is a lot more we can do apparently, but I’m a bit confused:

  1. Do I need add the expo-updates plugin as shown there? What does it do?

  2. Under usage it shows how to update manually from the app. I guess there is no need for that if you want it to happen automatically?

  3. It would be nice if we can make updates a bit more explicit as you see in many apps: “There is a new update available, click here to install it”. What is the recommended way to do that? So including closing/restarting the app (twice?).
