White screen after publishing app using expo publish

Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): Android/iOS

After submitting an update of my app using: yarn expo publish --release-channel default, and I try to open the app in production, I get a blank screen. After clearing the app cache or reinstalling it, I can use it normally. Any idea what could be going on?
