Expo version not being updated

From what I understand I am still using legacy expo. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times. As well as removing the .expo directories multiple times. But It seems I continue to install the legacy expo version.

How do I know whether I have expo legacy or local?

Please help.

What are you trying to do and what leads you to believe you’re using “the legacy version?”

Also, what guide/tutorial/documentation are you following, if any?
