Why is expo-av using an old Android player?

Hi, expo-av uses ExoPlayer 2.9.2 (2018). Is there a reason why? We could drastically benefit from upgrading this dependency. Just wondering, maybe there’s a particular reason.

The ExoPlayer has been updated around 2 months ago and new version including the bump has been published in next channel on NPM. You can check out the details in this PR:
