Why does imagepicker example only ask permission on ios?

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 38
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): all

imagepicker documentation : https://docs.expo.io/versions/latest/sdk/imagepicker/

Why does the example only show permissions requests for ios? Is it necessary on android? I am troubleshooting an issue where the final ipa and apk can’t open the gallery
