When EAS builds an IPA locally, is there a way for me to get and privately host a manifest.plist file the way the install link on EAS remote build does?

Hi, we’re trying to make it more convenient for our app to be installed on multiple registered devices. Previously, the EAS remote build’s install link was a painless way of doing that.

We have started using EAS build locally but haven’t been able to generate a manifest.plist file. The only way to install the IPA seems to be via the USB cable. Alternatively, would it also be possible to host the IPA on Google Drive and install it directly on registered devices?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi @esean_keni

It looks relatively straightforward to generate a manifest.plist file and a download file. It’s not Expo-specific. e.g. see the following posts:
