ssl3.get_record: wrong version number

I get the following error anytime I try to login via command line so I can publish or do anything that requires authentication:

Error: write EPROTO 4333471168:error:1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number:../deps/openssl/openssl/ssl/record/ssl3_record.c:332:

I’m attempting this from my work computer. On my personal laptop, I don’t have this issue.

Any clue as to what I need to do to fix this?

What comes to mind is this:

but the error can also be caused by trying to connect to something that is not an HTTPS server. This could happen if your proxy settings are wrong.

e.g. see this comment, but ignore the rest of the comments in that issue.

Or this stack overflow answer.

I suggest you check what versions of node and expo-cli you are using and check your proxy settings.

What does expo diagnostics give you?
