The current version of react-native-pager-view (5.0.12) available in Expo suffers from a few bugs in iOS. The latest available version is 5.4.1 which I believe fixes these issues.
I wondered if there is an official way to request a third party library upgrade? Or is this forum the best starting point?

Ah that will be excellent if possible. We’ve been using expo for the past couple of months and have loved the managed workflow, but this is the first thing we’ve run in to which has made us consider going bare.
These days there’s also the possibility of using EAS Build, a Custom Dev Client, etc. to install libraries that include native code in the managed workflow
