We are using the Expo bare workflow and it is unclear to us whether it is possible to use Reanimated v2 without Hermes for Android. We don’t want to use Hermes because we use Expo Updates for OTA updates and it does not support Hermes.
Any clarification would be most helpful.
Seems like this isn’t actually an issue since reanimated 2.1 supports JSC on android. We were confused due to how the the expo docs point to the reanimated docs, which mention enabling hermes. Perhaps docs should be updated somewhere?
