Yes, although it might be best if you install WSL with Ubuntu as the Linux distribution. But you do need a Mac for certain things. See these comments:

Is it possible…sure. The only thing a Mac is needed for is XCode for actually uploading your IPA to AppStore. I do not own a MAC personally, so I rent an online one via MacInCloud. I also think there is some apple specific stuff needed to get your Apple developer account set up (don’t know for sure as someone else set up my team’s). As for testing on a device you could always try a sim device…but some feature don’t work on a sim device like push notifications. I develop solely on a Win10 lapt…

Hi! If you need to build a detached app for iOS, you’ll need access to a mac to run the builds and to submit to the app store. You can run some builds using a service like TravisCI or CircleCI, and you might also look at renting a hosted mac using a service like MacStadium (we currently use machines from them for our standalone app build service).

iOS development without Xcode?

Hey @abusalem, You could write and test an iOS app on a physical device without needing a Mac/Xcode, but eventually when you want to upload your .IPA file to AppStore Connect to get it into the App Store, you’ll need to get your hands on a Mac to do so. Cheers, Adam
