Opera unknown protocol error for custom app schema

I am using Expo SDK 40 and I created a schema for my app. Basically I am using links in the form of myapp:// to open my application. It works fine with chrome and safari but in opera I get an error saying myapp is an unknown protocol.

Is this the expected behaviour? How do I make it so that my app can open when using opera too?
