Linking.canOpenURL() rejects while it can actually open the URL ?

SDK Version: 43 (Latest)
Platforms: Android

for some reason I noticed that I can actually open the URL but canOpenURL still rejects

I did a little research and found out that we need to specify the URLs in the androidmanifest.xml

but couldn’t find a way to do it with expo ?
