Launch app into foreground on startup on Android

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 48
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): Android
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

I’m making a new app for Android tablets for my local community. We have taken a tablet and mounted it on the wall. If the device restarts, we want the app to launch itself again. Is this possible on Android? I saw this topic but it doesn’t seem to be exactly a launch into foreground, and it’s not clear if it’s possible without leaving Expo Go - How can I achieve my app activity to start automatically in the background
