I like the convenience of Expo, but it’s rather limiting in some ways. No background audio, can’t record audio output (what’s being played/cant select audio source), and when recording audio on iOS, the audio output ducks and after recording stops, doesn’t recover, and it’s not possible to work around these issues without native module support… Also, Expo also has a bug that hasn’t been addressed yet: bug I’m considering abandoning Expo, in favor of some other react native or other native solution 
I can’t get my product to function in the expected manner.
