importing new files gives an error and forces a restart

Any time I add a new file to a project, then import it for use in another file, I get

Requiring Unknown Module ‘11’

error. In order to get the project working again, I have to restart bundler in Expo console. I used to not have this problem, and watching other people code, it doesn’t look like they are experiencing the same behavior, so they can import new files without the need to restart. I’m using the latest Expo, with Genymotion.

Any ideas?
