How to update ios app in app store

I have uploaded a new build to itunes. I have incremented the version and build numbers and itunes no longer complains about that. However I don’t see anyway to release the new build. There is a message

To make changes to the app name, category or privacy policy, create a new app version. All other changes will be immediately available on the App Store.

How do I increment the version?

To add a new version expand the Version or Platform menu and click iOS. If you get a message about agreements first accept those in the itunesconnect dashboard and try again.
