@kudochien I’m not quite sure honestly. But we are using react-native-reanimated and the installation instructions say to enable Hermes. https://docs.swmansion.com/react-native-reanimated/docs/installation/
Also to mention I was having issues with the upgrade to Expo SDK 41 that may be associated, Upgrade to SDK 41 error - #2 by notbrent
