Exp Convert Maintenance Time?

Hi, I tried to convert my app using exp convert and I was unable to because it is currently under maintenance. I was wondering if I should wait or try to create a new expo project and add my files? Also, how easy is it to create a new project and add files?

it’s very easy to create a project and copy files. we don’t have time to work on exp convert right now and it only made things marginally easier in the best case and much more confusing in the worst case in its current form, so i’d just suggest using exp init
