Does OTA works after updating expo SDK(expo upgrade)

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 42.0.0
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): all
  3. Expo update,

I just released apps to app store the new build with expo sdk 38.0.0 but now i upgraded the expo sdk to 42.0.0.

My question is do i need a new build for the OTA to be successful?
