Difference between production app and expo ran app?

Hi, I just saw a weird bug on a built app.

I recently published my iOS app and one of my friends downloaded it on iphone 8.

For some reason, one of the page after navigation on his phone would be completely blank(I am assuming this is because of an error), but I don’t have an issue at all on my iphone10.

But this also only happens on the real app, I downloaded the expo client on his phone and ran the app there and there was no issue.

Now I am left wondering, what is the difference between the app on the iOS store and the expo ran app (they have the same code, endpoint). Only difference I can think of would be configurations but I don’t have any domain knowledge on this.

Has anyone encountered this before?
