Continue recording after closing iPad smartfolio

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: Expo SDK43
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): iOS (14.5+)

Has anyone successfully found a workaround to continue recording audio after closing a magnetic iPad case?

Starting in iOS 14.5, the microphone is automatically muted when closing an iPad smartfolio case unless this setting is disabled with the overrideMutedMicrophoneInterruption configuration.

Are there any plans to add this configuration option to the Expo Audio package?

Has anyone found a clever workaround? My only viable idea involves modifying the Expo package source code, which I would really prefer to avoid.
