@waheed25 @gerherz one of your dependencies must use Symbol.
Most of them recommend es6-symbol and babel-polyfill:

Hi, my env:
react-native-cli : 0.1.7
react-native : 0.16.0 [react-native-icons… ](https://github.com/corymsmith/react-native-icons): 0.7.0
when I run my app ,I got the following error:
`E/ReactNativeJS( 2973): Can't find variable: Symbol`
but the Example of react-native-icons works fine.
I am new to Expo and trying to compile the project with expo and genymotion. I get this error “Can’t find variable: Symbol” but my code doesn’t include Symbol in any file so I guess it’s something with babel?
my config:
.babelrc
{
“presets”: [“babel-preset-expo”],
“env”: {
“development”: {
“plugins”: [“transform-react-jsx-source”]
}
}
}
package.json
{
“name”: “recorder-app”,
“version”: “0.0.0”,
“description”: “Hello Expo!”,
“author”: null,
“private”: true,
“main”: “main.js”,
“…
Its hard for me to root cause this issue without knowing more, and if those solutions still dont work for you guys, could you guys send me a toy/super simple expo project with this error at support@expo.io so i can take a look at it?
