Camera barcode scanner often not working

I’m using the camera barcode scanner. But often it wont scan any barcodes while the camera works fine.

I made a snack and also 9 out of 10 times the barcode scanner wont do anything.

Tried it on my iPhone 7 (iOS 13) and iPhone 5 (iOS 10).

Also tested it on my Nokia 5.1 (android) and it always works fine.

Hey- could you try using this snack and seeing if you run into the same problem? It uses the BarCodeScanner API rather than the Camera

Yes I just found out the BarCodeScanner works fine. But I can’t use the flashmode ‘torch’.
