Beep on recordAsync

Hello,

Is it possible to take out the beep when recordAsync() method from expo-camera is called? Or, if it is not possible, can we make it with a lower sound?

Hey @lucsilvacharmander89,

Is this only happening on the Xioami pro 8 device you mentioned in the other post? I’ve yet to hear about a sound being played when recording starts.

Hello, @adamjnav,

It is also happening in the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro. However, the point of this one is that it beeps in all other mobile devices I’ve tested (some of them louder, some with lower sound), and we would like to cut off this beep due to client requirements.
The other post I’ve made is treats about recordAsync() method not working on Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, this one is related with the beep when starting and ending the recording.
