Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 35.0.0
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): android/ios

expo start errors,

 • should NOT have additional property 'androidNavigationBar'.

expo publish errors

Error: Problem validating fields in app.json. See https://docs.expo.io/versions/v35.0.0/workflow/configuration/
 • should NOT have additional property 'androidNavigationBar'.
Couldn't publish because errors were found. (See logs above.) Please fix the errors and try again.

Thanks for bringing this up. Just reproduced it on my end. Going to investigate what is going on here and I’ll circle back when I know more.
