Amplitude: Do not send IP address

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 35
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): Android/ios

I am using Amplitude via expo (https://docs.expo.io/versions/latest/sdk/amplitude/) and I need to block it from sending the IP address (See e.g. https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002935588-Android-SDK-Installation#disable-automatic-tracking-of-user-properties). Is this possible with expo?

Unfortunately it does not appear to be possible currently.

The good news is there’s been some work on this recently by @amaurymartiny:
