After ejecting - how does the build process and publish process work now?

I am confused as to how to use the build and publish process now - couple of questions regarding that are

  1. Do I have to use xcode and android studio to build my IPA and APKs now?

  2. When I publish - it will only show the new changes made in JS but for native changes ill have to build and submit again?

Do I have to add app icons for all sizes now or will expo still deal with them. The only reason i ejected was for payments module.
