A problem to build an ipa

Hi,

We work in a big company and we’ve developped a React Native Application with Expo for 2 months.

Unfortunately, we face a big problem. From now, we are not abble to build an ipa for distribution on the Apple Store.

The distribution profile and the P12 file are provided to us by our company. We’ve got Apple Developper Accounts but we don’t have access to the one being author of the provisioning profile.

When we execute expo build:ios -c

we set our Apple Developper Account (not the one being the author of the provisioning profile, but we’re in the same Apple Team ID)

We have the following error :

validateProvisioningProfile: provisioning profile is not associated with uploaded distribution certificate

The message seems very clear but it’s not for us. The P12 and the provisioning profile are the right ones. We’re 100 % sure of that.

We think the problem is due to our apple dev account id. We don’t use the one being the author of the provisioning profile (because this one is not available for developers like us:-).

Could you confirm our diagnostic and could you please help us to find a solution to this problem.

thanks for your message. Charlie helped us a lot. In fact, we were provided a wrong distribution certificate. We got the right one thanks to Charlie’s diagnostic and everything is fine now. Your support was very helpful.
